St Martin's Churches

Our home Church is St Martin-on-the-Hill Church in Scarborough.

Our children enjoy leading regular Church services, which include:

- Harvest Festival

- Remembrance Day Service

- Christmas Carol Service

- Easter- Stations of the Cross

- Year 6 Leavers Service and Graduation.

The children also visit Church regularly as part of our RE Curriculum work and spiritual development. Visits include:

- Exploring why Church is a special place

- Understanding the features of the Church

- Understanding the Church and its role in the history of Scarborough

- Understanding of the Christian calendar and the different types of Church services that take place.

We also have a partnership with FISS (Faith in Scarborough Schools) who provide us with guests, including Rev. Geoff Bowell, to lead worship. We also enjoy visits from Rev. Sam Taylor, Julia Jones (Chair of Governors and local Minister) and Matt Grassam.
